TEDxWorthing 2025
Who Are We?
For our first-ever TEDxWorthing, we searched for bold, thought-provoking ideas that could shape the future of our town, give voice and agency to its people, and put Worthing on the map, not just locally, but globally.
TEDx is about ideas changing everything, and while our talks will be rooted in Worthing, their impact could go much further. Whether it’s a local initiative with universal lessons, a community-driven innovation that could work anywhere, or a story from Worthing that resonates with audiences across the world, we want ideas that speak to our town but connect with a wider conversation.
Worthing is full of hidden gems, stories, ideas, and innovations that we have now started to uncover....
A Message From the Organiser
"When I look back at TEDxWorthing 2025, it still doesn’t feel quite real. On 6th October, we filled The Atrium with laughter, tears, applause, and ideas that will stay with us for years to come. What started as a bold “what if…” has turned into something much bigger. A movement that proves Worthing is full of creativity, connection, and courage.
The energy in the room was electric! Speakers poured their hearts into ideas worth spreading, the audience showed up with open minds, and the community came together to make it all happen. Seeing strangers become collaborators, and ideas become action, reminded me of why we started this in the first place.
And the most amazing part? TEDxWorthing is entirely volunteer-run - myself included!. Every single aspect of TEDxWorthing was made possible by people who gave their time, energy, and knowledge, simply because they believe in Worthing’s potential. From coaching speakers to managing production, marketing, and partnerships, our year-round volunteers are the heartbeat of this event.
What started out as another "Zoe-Beth has another idea..." has turned into a passion project that has changed my life for the better and has impacted the lives of over 150 people in our first year.
I cannot wait to do it all again next year, and continue to contribute to Worthing's community.
Until next time ✌🏼"
